The school offers both O and A – level programmes as follows:

O-Level
The school offers commercial, arts and science combinations
A-Level
The following combinations are offered EGM, HGE, HGK, HGL, HKL, PCM, PCB, PGM, CBG and ECA.

Entry to the Golden Ridge High School is based on merit only, regardless of background.

O-Level Admissions

Each November through December, candidates apply for the 100 places in Form I. All applicants must have completed seven years of education up to Grade 7 at primary level. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed before being admitted. Form II and III admissions are possible in June and December, depending on availability of study places.

Mid-Term Entry

Students applying for entry mid-way through the School Calendar will be admitted pending space availability, but must still meet entry requirements stipulated above.

A-Level Admissions

Minimum entry is C, C, and C. Shortlisted candidates who meet the academic requirements are interviewed before the final selection is made.

Admission for non-Tanzanian Students

Admission procedure is similar to those for Tanzanian students, but foreign students must complete the necessary immigration formalities and provide confirmation to the school administration before commencing studies.

Golden Ridge High School follows the Tanzanian National Curriculum, both for 'O' and 'A' levels.
